Read project context
Reads one project’s details, its documents and their most relevant passages, before the assistant drafts or advises.
Verify a citation
Checks that a statute, regulation, constitutional provision or case exists in CaseRead’s sources.
Verify citations
The same check for up to five citations in one go. One bad citation never sinks the rest.
Check case treatment
A signal, read from how later opinions discuss a case, of whether it still looks reliable, with the evidence. A rough guide to check, not a final word.
Verify a quote
Confirms a quoted passage appears in a project’s documents and names the file it came from, before the quote goes into a draft.
A citation check here confirms existence only. Whether a source supports your sentence is the Hallucination Shield’s job, inside CaseRead.
Read-only, as you
It sees what you see, and nothing more
- It acts as you: your firm’s shared documents and your own private ones, exactly what you see signed in.
- Another lawyer’s private projects stay out of reach, the same as in CaseRead.
- It cannot create, edit or delete anything in CaseRead.
- Before anything connects, you sign in to CaseRead and approve it. The approval screen lists what it can do.

Add the connector
In Claude or ChatGPT, add CaseRead as a custom connector with the address we send you.
Sign in and approve
Sign in to CaseRead, read what the connector may do, and approve. Then ask in Claude or ChatGPT as you normally would.
