Document review
Review one contract, or the whole folder.
Ask CaseRead to read a document for issues, risks and missing provisions. Compare two versions and download the redline as a Word file. Put the same questions to a stack of documents and get one table back, every answer quoted from its source.

Four ways to review
Pick the one the job needs
Review a document
Attach a contract or a filing and choose Review. CaseRead works through it clause by clause, quotes the language it’s talking about, ranks the risks, lists what’s missing and suggests wording you can take straight into a redline.
- Quotes the clause behind each point
- Risks ranked, not just listed
- Missing provisions called out
Compare two versions, export the redline
Pick two documents in My files, or a version in the editor, and compare. Changes lists every edit, Clauses lines the two versions up section by section, and Risks gives an AI read of what the changes mean.
- Download redline (.docx): a real tracked-changes Word file, attributed to you and saved to the project
- Risks is a starting point, not a verdict
- The Risks tab comes with Pro and Team
Tabular review across many documents
Choose up to 50 documents and up to 8 columns, such as governing law, renewal date or liability cap. You get one row per document, and every answer is checked against the document’s own text before it’s marked a verified quote.
- Open any cell in its document to see the passage
- Retry failed rows, sort and filter, download CSV
- Save the columns as a firm template, or let CaseRead suggest them
Bulk review and multi-jurisdiction surveys
Bulk review reads up to 12 documents in a project for issues, risks and missing provisions, then writes one findings memo across the set.
A survey asks one research question in up to 8 jurisdictions and returns a cited answer for each, plus a memo on the differences. Both save to the project as Word files.

Contract review against your playbook
Once a firm admin sets up the firm’s playbook, contracts are checked against your own positions, and the deviations are ranked across the set.
Ask the project
Every document in a project can be questioned in plain English, and each answer cites the file it came from.
Recordings are from CaseRead. Illustrations show the layout, not real results.
Security
Private by design
Client files stay inside your firm. CaseRead gives every firm its own database schema, encrypts data in transit and at rest, and trains no AI model on what you upload.
SOC 2 aligned
Every control on our Security page is live in CaseRead today: a database schema for each firm, two-factor sign-in, a firm activity log, instant project purge, AES-256 encryption at rest and no training on your data.
Rule 1.6 and ABA Formal Opinion 512
Built for the duty of confidentiality: each firm gets its own database schema with row-level security, and nothing you upload trains any AI model.
Encrypted and US-hosted
AES-256 at rest, TLS in transit, hosted in the United States. Two-factor sign-in, which a firm admin can require.
See our Security page for details.
